Eyeliner Tattoo Services are as varied as Eyebrow Tattoo Services. You can choose to define the lash line for full thicker looking lashes, or add a winged liner, OR even have a nice subtle shadow effect. Eyeliner Tattooing is a great way to revive lost color and shape around the eyes as we age, enhance the impression of thick lashes by tattooing into the roots of existing lashes, or to add drama to the eyes.
WARNINGS - LATISSE USERS AND CLIENTS W/ LASH EXTENSIONS MUST READ THIS
Latisse causes the skin on the lids to become highly vascular and extremely thin. It is imperative to discontinue using this product for permanent eyeliner services at least 2 months prior to the date of service. If you have lash extensions please have them removed prior to your service.
PREP
CARE ABOUT PRE CARE!
24 hrs Before
Do not wear contact lenses during or within 24 hours following the eyeliner procedure.
Bring sunglasses to wear. Eyes may be light sensitive.
No aspirin or other blood thinners
Avoid caffeine at least 6 hrs before service
No Sunburns
Totally removed all makeup in the eye area (including mascara, eyeliners, shadow, lash glue)
5 Days Before
No waxing, tweezing, or threading
2 Week Before
Removed lash extensions
Do not dye, perm, or curl lashes for 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
4 Week Before
Have a 4 week cushion period between botox & procedure
3 Months Before
Discontinued use of eyelash growth serums
you must wait 3 months after cataract, Lasik or blepharoplasty surgery
1 Year
Accutane users must be off Accutane for at least one year.
Please note that you will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.
POST
NO WATER! NO SWEAT! NO SUN! For 10 days
Day 1 - 2
Swelling can be normal after the procedure. After you leave, we recommend that ice packs be applied
for 10 to 15 minutes each hour for the first 4-8 hours following the procedure.
For the first three hours following your procedure, wipe the treated area every hour with the provided antiseptic wipes. On the second day, the treated areas should be wiped down three times a day morning, afternoon, and evening, using only the antiseptic wipes. Always wash face make up away from the eyes
Avoid swimming, steam baths, saunas, facials
No heavy sweating for 7 days
Sleep on your back to avoid color loss
Day 3-10
Wash the face gently, pat the eyeliner dry
apply a thin, breathable layer of ointment
DO NOT scratch, rub or pick at eyeliner during the healing process
Day 14
Allowed to apply makeup on the eye area again
apply SPF for tattoo longevity
Day 24
Exfoliants, chemical peels, laser or microdermabrasion can be reintroduced into routine avoiding the tattooed area
Day 30
Your skin has successfully healed and you are able to get a touch up
Recommended time for touch @ 5 weeks
Avoid retinoid products on the eyeliner long term

COLD SORE CONTROL
Lips should be properly prepared for treatment. Lips are very delicate. During the treatment the epidermis is affected, which may activate cold sores.
If you ever had any type of cold sore you will need a doctor Taking antiviral “Valtrex” 2 days before and 3 days after the treatment. This help prevent your lips from developing herpes. This drug is only issued on prescription by a doctor.
*If you do not get cold sores I suggest purchasing L-Lysine for immune boosting for quick and healthy healing

APPOINTMENT PREP
Before the treatment, gently exfoliate and well moisturize lip (3 days prior), makes it easier to absorb pigment. I cannot perform the service if the lips are cracked, too dry, or have an outbreak
DOES IT HURT:
There is very minimal pain, I also numbing anesthetic.
TIMING:
There is a bit of mindfulness when scheduling your lips. They will swell.
Bring in your favorite lipstick color!
HEALING:
Day 1-3 will have a bit of swelling. Over the course of 10 Day’s you will go through the entire healing process.
I need you committed to your aftercare, and taking your medication or immune booster.

CANDIDATES WHO ARE SEEKING PERMANENT MAKEUP AND CANNOT BE TREATED ARE:
We will need a Doctor’s note to proceed with the procedure if you have/had any of the following:
Hemophilia
Radiotherapy/Chemotherapy
Epilepsy/Seizures
Diabetes
Active flare with autoimmune disease

People with skin diseases such as psoriasis, eczema, and rashes or blisters on the site
Skin with colloid and scar tendencies

Those with easily triggered post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation are not good candidates.
Active skin cancer in the area to be tattooed.
Are a hemophiliac.
Have healing disorders
Those on any skin medication such as accutane (need to be 1 year off)
Let us know if you have/had allergic reactions to topical anesthetics.
